If you're thinking about getting any of my 2011 Calendars
for Christmas presents, then do order soon to be sure of getting
them in time.
All my focus this week is set on the official
launch of the new studio complex in Kirkcudbright.
WASPS
studios(Workshop and Artists' Studio
Provision Scotland) is an organisation which provides space for
artists in many sites across Scotland, and this weekend, will be
the first Open Studio Event for the new venture, at Cannonwalls
and Claverhouse Studios, 117 High Street, Kirkcudbright DG6 4JG.
Together with 12 other artists in the adjoining buildings,
I will be welcoming visitors to my studio on Saturday, 11th December
from 10am to 4pm. There will be some new work on show, and of course
the chance to buy on the day.
We will be providing mince pies and mulled wine
too - come early while stocks last!
On the same day, Kirkcudbright itself will be hosting
a Christmas Festival, so there will be lots to see and do for all
the family throughout the town.
Do come along and see the new space.
The video this month (see below), shows some of the
new work I will be exhibiting.
Off the Wall
Just a wee reminder that the "Off the Wall"
